This course will examine foundational beliefs and practices within their historical and current contexts and will also discuss the rich diversity within Judaism. It will reflect on the millennia of Jewish experience within surrounding cultures, the role of the modern state of Israel in that experience, and Jewish-Christian relations past and present. Meets the General Education Religion requirement.
