This course is designed to help students become more efficient learners through practice of higher level thinking skills. Emphasis is on taking complete, accurate notes; effective use of class notes in study; reading and marketing text assignments; strategies for taking essay and objective exams; studying beyond the literal level; and techniques for dealing with technical terms and unknown vocabulary. Pre-requisite: Placement Test/RDG 093.
