This course is an introduction to the principles of disease for the veterinary technician. Pertinent aspects of common animal diseases are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the technician's role in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases and in educating the public by imparting factual information on common diseases and their clinical signs. Animal care is a requirement. Prerequisites: VET 109, VET 110, VET 235.
