Students are assigned part-time work in a zoo, veterinary office, animal hospital, or animal care unit under the supervision and training of professionals. Research papers and a work log are required assignments. Open to senior-level students only. A minimum of 240 hours is required. Students must be vaccinated against rabies and have an up-to-date tetanus vaccine.
