This demonstration course stresses, nonmathematically, the many areas physics and music share in common including hearing, pitch, quality and synthesized sound, physical characteristics of conventional instruments, design of new instruments, computed and computer music, acoustics, electrical reproduction, noise pollution, amplification and matching, formats, temperament, and vibrato.
