3 credits Prerequisite: At least 12 credits in French required for the major. This course will develop competence in the spoken French language at a functional level above the daily, practical one. Newspapers, periodicals, videos, and audiotapes will be used to provide the material necessary for the students to engage in discussions, debates, and presentations. Additional work in the language laboratory is required.
