Practical laboratory experience in subjects covered in BIO 107 includes the use of microscopes in the study of living, preserved, and slide materials; cell biology from the viewpoint of structure, function, reproduction, and heredity; and a survey of the diversity and function of eubacteria, fungi, and plants. Students perform experiments and write a research report. Concurrent with BIO 107. (Science Core Course for Biology majors and Psychology majors pursuing the Bachelor of Science degree option)
