Through this course students will explore concepts of health and wellness, health promotion and health education. This course will review the history and profession of health promotion and education, and will explore health related programs and initiatives in school, clinical, government and corporate settings. Relevant behavior change theories will be applied to various health behaviors, and strategies and implementation tactics will be discussed for successful development and delivery of health and wellness programs to address community and individuals’ needs.
