This course will be used: 1) to examine in detail certain fundamental fields of Philosophy such as Metaphysics and Epistemology; 2) to study in depth one or several major authors in philosophy; 3) to conduct an intensive study of a particular topic, e.g., utopias, peace, humanism, aesthetics or environments, etc. Prerequisite: PHI 110 or permission of instructor or Department Chair.
