An evolutionary and ecological approach to ethology including study of neuronal, hormonal and physiological mechanisms underlying adaptive behavior of animals. Laboratory includes observations and quantification of behavior in zoo, field and lab settings. Prerequisite: BIO 100 or BIO 110. Lecture, 3 hours; Laboratory 3 hours.
