The course will introduce students to a variety of genres, time periods and authors of literature in French from France and the Francophone world. Focus will be on short stories, drama, poetry and the novella. While all work will be done in French, the pace will be appropriate for a student’s initial experience with literature in the language. Prerequisite: FRE 106, or four years high school French or permission of instructor. Offered As Needed.
