The focus of this course will is on intervention strategies and techniques for managing and modifying curriculum for diverse learners. The course will provide pre-service teachers with the tools they need to deal with a continuum of student learning problems encountered in their classroom, ranging from differences in learning styles to severe learning disabilities. Theoretical models related to learning and teaching styles, as well as assessment and measurement procedures appropriate for classroom use will be covered. Field study required.
