This course is designed to assist students in developing a nursing assessment and a comprehensive plan of care for families in crisis. Family theory, crisis intervention and concepts of family health promotion will be covered. Application will focus on concepts related to families in maturational and situational crisis as they present in various acute care and community based settings.
