It is an unequaled laboratory for students to experience how these forces interact to form species. Through the study of evolution, ecology and natural history, students in this class wil become familiar with the biota of the Galapagos Islands.. We will also examine how natural as well as anthropogenic changes have affected the organisms living on these islands. Students will use knowledge accumulated throughout their undergraduate education to interpret, discuss and present information. The class will culminate in a trip to the Galapagos Islands.
