This course is a study of vertebrate structure and function from an evolutionary perspective. Lecture focuses on comparative study of embryonic development, functional morphology, adaptive radiation, and evolution of chordates while the laboratory places emphasis on the student's knowledge of anatomical form and function from a comparative perspective. Laboratory is an integral part of the course.
