This course continues the presentation of the advanced principles of nurse anesthesia. Classes will consist primarily of lectures, which may be disseminated in a distance learning format. Discussion and application of course concepts take place via additional learning experiences, such as small group discussions and case scenario presentations. In addition, students will hone clinical, critical thinking and leadership skills by managing clinical case scenarios in the simulator laboratory.
