History and present conceptual structure of vascular plant taxonomy are reviewed. Methods and principles of classifications and their practical applications are emphasized. Two three-hour lecture-laboratory periods. One all-day Sunday field trip. Prerequisites: BIO 103 and 327. 4 credits.
