An introduction to the basics of analog and digital electronics. Review of Kirchhoff’s laws, Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems. Electronic circuits modelinand analysis, diodes, transistors, filters, operational amplifiers, single and multi-stage amplifiers; analysis and design of combinational and sequential digital circuits. Cross-listed as ES 230. Prerequisites: ES 220 and 221, or PHYS 214 and 216, or 210B and 209B, or consent of instructor. Must be taken concurrently with Electronics I Lab.
