A course in introduction to differential equations, introduction to vector and matrix algebra and applications of matrices in the study of systems of differential equations. Topics include first order differential equations (separable, linear, exact), vectors and matrices, linear independence, spanning, bases, linear transformations, higher order linear differential equations and linear systems of first order differential equations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, phase planes, geometric and numerical methods.
