The course is oriented to case studies that illuminate the content and applicability of such basic economic concepts as marginality, opportunity costs, and market structure. Topics include: demand analysis, resource allocation, production economics, and cost analysis; profitability analysis; price and non-price competition; capital budgeting; and long-range strategy formulation. Prerequisite: ECON 201B.
