An integrated examination of life-span development among individuals in American society from a multicultural perspective. This course examines physiological, social, and psychological aspects of life-span development; cultural/ethnic attitudes; adolescence; adulthood; aging and the aged; death and dying; cultural and ethnic support systems for age groups in ethnic communities; and strategies for improving health and social services for various age groups.
