Relations and functions are investigated graphically, numerically, symbolically, and verbally. Logarithmic functions, exponential functions, and systems of equations are explored. Special topics include polynomial and rational functions. Applications are investigated from business, management, life and social science perspectives. Technology is integrated throughout the course. TI graphing calculator required, see instructor at first class meeting. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 95 or equivalent placement test scores.
