3 semester hours formerly BU 121 Business Law I A knowledge and an understanding of fundamental legal principles and their applications to business transactions and to individual rights and obligations are provided. The laws of contracts and agency are examined as the basic laws applying to business activities. Emphasis is placed on business ethics as defined by government regulations and business torts, and crimes are examined.
