The course examines major trends, issues, and problems facing colleges and universities from a variety of perspectives, including historical, administrative, public policy, governance, and faculty. The primary objectives of the course are to assist the student in developing an understanding of 1) various components and operations of higher education and 2) the interaction of these components and operations.
