The study of the planning, administration, management, and cost of construction projects and an introduction to the methodology utilized in executing specific designs. Emphasis is placed on the organization of construction firms, development of construction documents, interpretation and analysis of engineering plans and specifications, theory of engineering economics, estimating and quantity take-off, contractural and management systems, scheduling, project administration, and inspection of construction operations. Lecture, three hours; laboratory, two hours per week. Prereq: CE 106 and engineering standing.
