This course involves the study and practice of basic conventional welding techniques in OAW (Oxygen Acetylene Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding). Emphasis will be placed on developing the basic skills needed to satisfactorily perform welds that comply with AWS standards used by industry. 3 lecture hours, 17 laboratory hours.
