Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in MUSM 201. Continued development of performance and functional skills. Includes scales, triads and seventh chords, harmonization, accompanying patterns, transposition, improvisation, sightreading, and repertoire. Designed to further prepare music majors for piano proficiency exam. MUSP 211 and 213 Private Piano Lesson Elective will be accepted by the Music Department as course substitutions for MUSM 101, 102, 201 and 202. A laboratory fee will be charged. 2 class hours.
