Prerequisite: Successful completion of READ 011, or recentered SAT Verbal score of (R)420 or greater, or appropriate placement test scores. This course is designed both for education majors who need to meet state requirements and for students who may wish to gain or regain appreciation for the best literature written for children. Classic and modern children's books, ranging from kindergarten to junior high level, will be read and discussed. This course is a transferIN course. 3 class hours.
