Prerequisites: LFSC/LFSL 112 with a C or better grade; and acceptance into the Surgical Assisting Program. This course is designed for the student with a background in anatomy and physiology. It is a further study into human systems, functions, and physiology with additional emphasis on medical applications and pathophysiology. Cells, tissues, integument, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system and endocrine system will be studied. 3 lecture hours offered via the Internet.
