Prerequisite: Successful completion of READ 011, or recentered SAT Verbal score of (R)420 or greater, or appropriate placement test scores. This course deals with the specific day-to-day problems of enforcement of conservation laws. Thought will be given to the judicial process as it pertains to the conservation law violator. Arrests, search and seizures, as well as case preparation will be discussed and reviewed. Specific problems of field enforcement and encounters will be studied and discussed. 3 lecture hours.
