FRPD 110 deals with the converting of "green" lumber into the various parts needed for a piece of furniture. The course begins in the lumber yard and progresses through the finished machine room. Emphasis is placed on understanding the capabilities of the many woodworking machines involved in production. Lumber drying, grading, measurement, and stacking will be studied. Offered only at Jasper Campus. 3 lecture hours, 1 laboratory hour.
