Prerequisite: Successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in MATH 012. Introduction to theory and operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and physics of mechanics. Special emphasis on hydraulic and pneumatic components and flow diagrams for particular applications in industrial control. Basic mechanics emphasized with brief introduction to kinematics. 4 lecture hours, 4 laboratory hours.
