Through lectures, films, speakers and school visits, students will cover the topics of philosophical foundations, history of American education, teacher motives, problems, skills and attitudes, school models, curriculum and administration, unionism, inequality, violence, student rights, salaries, the job market and licensing. 3 lecture hours.
