Prerequisite: Successful completion of READ 009, ENGL 009 and MATH 009, or recentered SAT Verbal score of (R)380 or greater, or appropriate placement test scores. This course is an introduction to computer aided drafting using AutoCAD software. This course is primarily designed for drafting and surveying majors but open to all students interested in learning the basics of AutoCAD. Topics include: 2D drawing commands, coordinate systems, editing commands, paper and model space, inquiry commands, layers, plotting, text, and basic dimensioning. 2 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours.
