Prerequisites: Successful completion of READ 009, ENGL 009 and MATH 009, or recentered SAT Verbal score of (R)380 or greater, or appropriate placement test scores. Introduction to basic concepts and ANSI practices of technical drawing. Topics include lettering, use and care of instruments, applied geometry, sketching, multiview projection, pictorial projection, auxiliary projection, and sectioning. 2 lecture hours, 6 laboratory hours.
