Prerequisites: Successful completion of COMP 107 and COMP 113. This course introduces the basic syntax of PHP and MySQL and concepts of dynamic Web applications. The focus of this course is the use the PHP server-side scripting language and the MySQL database engine to underlie dynamic Web sites. Students will acquire skills to build online shopping sites, create customized information pages for users, and manage a large volume of content through a database. 3 lecture/lab hours.
