Students seeking a degree in Webmaster or needing an understanding of the process for Web site development may take this course. This course introduces the principles of Web site development. It enables students to acquire a concrete understanding of how to create a Web site. Emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of setup, design and maintenance through concrete examples. While keeping pace with the ever-changing computer technology and HTML, the de facto language of the World Wide Web, this course will present the most recent theories of designing a Web site and the application of various technologies used to create and manage a Web site. 3 lecture/ laboratory hours.
