This introductory course is designed to provide students skill development in the understanding and use of the IBM iSeries Midrange Computer. Students will acquire the fundamental skills necessary to create and enter source code using Source Entry utility, submit jobs and display output. Emphasis will be on the acquisition of the appropriate syntax and the manipulation of Physical, Logical, and Files. 3 lecture/laboratory hours.
