Prerequisite: Successful completion of READ 009, or recentered SAT Verbal score of (R)380 or greater, or appropriate placement test scores. An introductory course in art which explores the creative processes of humankind, its usage of specific traditional and contemporary media for communication and the study of periods and styles in art as they relate to the human condition. Students must complete work based on observation and/or research for oral or written presentation or seminar participation as assigned by the instructor.
