Description:

Two hours lecture, three hours lab. This course introduces the three basic discrete devices: the diode (both pn and zener), the bipolar junction transistor, and the field effect transistor. Device modeling, biasing techniques, frequency response, h parameters and amplifier design are discussed. Prereq: ENGR 255.
