Dimensions of the physical, chemical, and biological factors of lakes, streams, and estuaries; including the study of benthos and vertebrates with emphasis on identification, classification, anatomy, physiology, and ecology. Indiana species will be emphasized but other important species will be included. Laboratory will be devoted to exploring techniques for evaluation of various aquatic parameters and the identification of organisms. (Three hours lecture, two hours lab per week).
