Description:
This course will provide students with a practicum in clinical education at an accredited clinical site. The student will intern as an assistant clinical instructor in a hospital setting. The educational experience will prepare students to become clinical instructors in a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accredited clinical site. The focus of this course is on the development, instruction, and evaluation of radiologic technology lessons in the clinical environment. Concurrent with the clinical practicum the student will participate in classroom instruction or Internet delivered instruction. Students will share knowledge with each other concerning positive experiences and difficulties they may encounter in their clinical education practicum.
