The emphases of this course are the meaning and dynamics of purposeful activity and occupation to enhance role functioning across the lifespan, particularly in basic activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, and play and leisure exploration and participation. Also emphasized are the interplay of occupational performance skills, patterns, and contexts in relation to activities of daily living and play and leisure occupations.
