This multi-disciplinary course is designed for students interested in learning about transcultural populations of people and the relationship of culture to health and health care. Included in the course will be a visit to examine transcultural health in the global community. Services projects included during the visit will provide clinical and community education opportunities in a variety of sites and will promote interdisciplinary responses to health care issues in the cultural context of the community.
