Provides a background in period styles to the advanced student actor, examining the special considerations inherent in performing classical drama, beginning with Greek tragedies and continuing on through Elizabethan, Restoration, and other periods, including contemporary pieces of a special nature, such as epic, expressionist and absurdist drama. Prereq: THTR 351 or permission of instructor.
