The objective of this course is to provide the student with an understanding of the concepts of decision support systems (DSS), group decision support systems (GDSS), executive information systems (EIS), and expert systems (ES). Emphasis will be placed on the integration of these technologies for the support of management decision-making. The student will study development and testing of DSS, GDSS, EIS, and ES as well as using applications software packages.
