Introduction to Criminal Justice is designed to familiarize students with the history, theory, practice and philosophy of the criminal justice system and processes. Emphasis is placed on acquainting students with the various components of the criminal justice system, their roles and functions (law enforcement, courts and corrections). Knowledge obtained from the course will prepare the student for succeeding courses in the Criminal Justice program. *Students must achieve a C- or better in CRM 110 to enroll in CRM 213, CRM 218, CRM 221 or CRM 231. Offered every semester. Fulfills general education social science elective requirement.
