The scientific study of the numerous ways that other people influence our thoughts, emotions and behaviors. One of the main themes in the course is the constant tension between being an individual and yet being subject to pressures from others. Students learn to analyze these situational forces that impinge on their everyday lives and in the process become able to choose how to respond. Class hrs. 3.
