It is an introduction to the process of marketing products, services, and organizations in the health care industry to meet the needs of domestic and global customers. Product, price, distribution channels, service and marketing communication strategies are examined. It explores the provider and consumer perspectives of marketing, as well as the impact of the Internet on delivery systems. Company analysis, market segmentation, the use of market research, product pricing and distribution, advertising, and target markets are examined.
