The student acquires a basic knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacology for utilization in the professional practice of nursing. The effects of disease are viewed from a spirit-mind-body perspective. The course examines various disease processes, their treatment modalities with emphasis on appropriate pharmacological interventions. Information presented will be applied to nursing courses given concurrently. Prerequisites: Nursing 300, 301. Corequisites: Nursing 300/301. Fall.
